Adult ADHD assessment

We provide a comprehensive and streamlined ADHD diagnostic assessment pathway for adults. Our assessments are fully NICE compliant and are recognised  by the NHS, colleges and other organisations.

This is a diagnostic service, not a prescription service. If you would like to explore medication options, we can refer you to a private prescriber. 

Our comprehensive adult ADHD assessment will include:

Screening

 You and someone who know you well currently/in childhood will be asked to complete screening questionnaires, e.g., about your family and early history.

"Gold standard" assessment tools

We use "gold standard" diagnostic assessment tools, carried out to consider your presentation against ADHD criteria, such as the DIVA-5. This will involve questions about your developmental history and your current presentation.

Clinical discussion & feedback

 We will evaluate and consider the assessment outcome immediately after we have met with you and we will then feedback the outcome to you on the same day. 

Comprehensive report and feedback

Our detailed diagnostic report sent to you securely via email. Recommendations and support suggestions are provided regardless of the diagnositic outcome. 

Corroborative information needs to be considered as part of a thorough assessment, so involvement of a parental figure, school reports or other evidence is really helpful. However, we understand that adults may struggle to get this evidence and so we assess to the best of our ability without it.
